Designed to be a teacher-led activity, ideally with learners using 'show me' whiteboards. Two business's costs are introduced - for the first, learners could be provided with additional help; less for the second business, to demonstrate understanding.

 

Slides introduce a scenario and then ask learners to calculate fixed costs, variable cost per unit, total costs, revenue and profit from given figures.
